ZNAPD - ZAFOD HOLDS A JOINT PUBLIC DIALOGUE FORUM

ZNAPD and ZAFOD jointly organized a Public Dialogue Forum in Chipata - Eastern Province to asses services rendered to Persons with Disabilities by different stakeholders.

Persons with disabilities also shared on the challenges they faced in their day-to-day lives.

All Government ministries present in Chipata, representatives of religious ministries, the media, representatives of traditional leaders and representatives of political parties, attended the forum.

After the meeting, stakeholders agreed to continue with the dialogue in pursuit of a disability friendly environment.

We are sorry for the delay in announcing the Passing of Our Dear Friend and Brother Mr. Isaac Fetutsi Nyathi who passed on the 18th of May 2021, Mr. Nyathi was a renown Disability Activist who has worked in many countries in Africa. During his last two years on earth worked with ZNAPD HQ As a Resource Mobilizer and an active Human Rights Advocate working with the local membership of ZNAPD HQ , His demise has indeed robbed Us and the Disability Movements in general of a Seasoned General. Mr. Nyathi will really be missed by those who worked closely with him.
